DNA Coffee is one of those places I keep coming back to, especially for their cortados. There’s something about them that I can’t quite put my finger on. They have this extra layer of luxurious velvetiness that I honestly haven’t experienced at any other coffee shop. Smooth, soothing, and just incredibly satisfying. I also had their affogato, which was delicious, and as always, the presentation of their drinks is top-notch. I love the little details, including the candied pralines that come alongside the cortado. Such a thoughtful and delicious addition. The service here is honestly amazing. Everyone is extremely hospitable, warm, and sweet, which makes the whole experience feel even more welcoming. And then there’s the upstairs aesthetic. The all-black design and attention to detail throughout the space create such a cool, inviting atmosphere. You can find a quiet corner tucked away in the shadows and settle in with your laptop, grab a spot by the window, or sink into the couch and relax. DNA Coffee has a little bit of everything I look for in a coffee spot: excellent drinks, beautiful presentation, genuinely kind service, and a space that makes you want to stay awhile. ☕️🖤

The worker was so friendly and talked me thru how they make their coffee. Helped me choose something specifically for me and it was absolutely amazing. Huge coffee lover and this hit everything in my checklist. They need more love!!!

I usually don’t write reviews for cafes because the coffee and pastries are all pretty similar. Prices here are all about the same as other cafes but the pastries have added efforts on them and the coffee’s texture feels better. Only thing I wish was different was that the second floor window wasn’t blocked by their store sign.

I had such an amazing experience at DNA Brooklyn. From the moment I walked in, the cozy, welcoming vibe stood out immediately—it’s the kind of place you can truly relax and unwind. The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and thoughtfully put together, making it perfect whether you’re catching up with someone or just enjoying some quiet time. I ordered the mango matcha and chamomile tea, and both were absolutely delicious. The mango matcha was perfectly balanced, refreshing, smooth, and not overly sweet, while the chamomile tea was calming and clearly made with care. What really sets this place apart, though, is the customer service. It was genuinely above 5 stars. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made me feel appreciated the entire time. You can tell they truly care about the experience they provide. This is easily one of the coziest spots in Brooklyn, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great drinks, a relaxing atmosphere, and top tier service.

The best coffee and service in Sunset Park! The coffee is truly delicious, and the pastries are fresh and perfectly balanced not overly sweet like in many New York coffee shops. The baristas are incredibly kind and attentive. They even gifted my child a hot chocolate, which was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. The café has two floors. Upstairs, you can comfortably work in a quiet atmosphere, there’s a polite sign at the stairs asking guests to keep their voices down since people may be working there. You can also enjoy a game of chess, which is a lovely touch. Special praise goes to the cleanliness both the seating area and the restroom are spotless. Definitely a place worth visiting!
